Having met in 1996, Trulz & Robin have been inseparable since. Here the Barcelona-based duo drops three equally solid tracks on Eskimo’s sister imprint Suicide. Building and building with musical elements such as Detroit-ish pads ‘Chest Of Gold’ is pumping techno-house of the hypnotic kind, designed to make you lose the plot. ‘Feel Techno’, an homage to Kraftwerk is simple and concise. ‘Gummi Tarzan’ is a proper slice of techy funk, vibey and yet quite disorienting. With minimal getting a little deep, this is probably the kind of records you’ll hear down DC10 and the likes this summer.
