’51 Cents Left’ is a stirring stew of 70′ & 80’s analogue influences, over some deep bumping house rhythms, as Peter Brown disco rides side by side with Prince funk, breaking down to let fly with some mind stretching dub effects. ‘Nee Nee (o.k.g.n.)’ is the first of two cuts on the flip, a dark brooding electro workout that falls apart at the end, and ‘Kingsize Red’ brings this Syrup outing to a sparse & well stoned close.
