The raw punky blues of The Gossip will not leave you indifferent. After a couple of albums on import and famed incendiary live performances, this cult American band is now getting ready to crack the UK. Sounding like the riot grrls version of ESG vs The White Stripes, ‘Listen Up’ comes with several rockin’ remixes. Mstrkrft turn out yet another solid rework, close to the original but tight enough to work the floor, Optimo’s JD Twitch also sticks to the song but goes a little harder. Last Tronik Youth gets synthy, UK electro-house stylee.
