The fact that The Killers feel sympathetic towards George Bush is depressingly unsurprising for a band hailing from southern United States, however ‘Somebody Told Me’ is still one hell of a hit (in the making for months now). Turning more and more into !!!’s distant cousins, The Glimmers offer an hypnotic punk-funk angle whilst Mylo goes club-rock (both 136 BPM). Concentrating on providing the minimum needed, chunky beats and a dj-friendly structure, the Scottish prodigy delivers a faultless remix that’s unlike anything he’s done so far (there isn’t a synth sound in sight!).
