Deep digital robo-funk is everywhere these days. Made on laptops thanks to cracked softwares, it is cost effective and somehow manage to join the dot between E culture and conceptual aesthetics via futuristic noodly soundtracks. After last years eponymous debut album and before the second one ‘Capsule For One’ due in September), heres Vector Lovers new single ‘Boulevard’, a melancholic journey into techno-soul. However its the stunning ‘Tokyo Glitteratti’ that really stands out due to (or despite) its exposure on a BMW tv advert. On a more minimal tip Pier Bucci delivers four cuts on Crosstown think fellow Chilian Ricardo Villalobos only maybe clubbier.
