If you’re in to that whole classic rock riffs on the dance floor vibe, then look no further than Voom Voom’s ‘All I Need’, which comes over like Led Zeppelin having a wig out with ELO & The Freelance Hellraiser. ‘All I Need’ will have you playing air guitar like you mean it as you strutt your funky stuff round the room with big hair & in disco pants. However, over on the flip Voom Voom have come up with ‘Sao Verought’, a different kettle of fish altogether, as lush pads on a deep & sexy house groove, bring those lovely melodic techno memories to mind, think early 90’s Djax with a sprinkling of Derrick May. This is the first of four limited edition EP’s, leading up to the release of Voom Voom’s debut album ‘Peng Peng’, & by the looks of it, we’d better keep an eye on this lot, they seem to know what they’re up to & are heading for big things.
