taMe mark their milestone 10th release on the duos own label taMe Music by showcasing the ambient greatness and atmospheric talents of ELY.
Bringing two very differing mixes of ELY’s single ‘The Neck’ off the artists new album EP1; taMe continue their thirst for experimental forays into the unknown, forging electronic interpretations of the music that captivates their imagination. The original track has been stripped down and rebuilt to add the taMe signature sound.
First up, the ‘Tunnel’ mix, which is a bumping, grooving, funked-up ride that just keeps on going with beautiful segways and a drift-like feel that is sure to take listeners on a blissful and landscaped journey. Spoken word in the background of a huge analogue synth that draws you in with its dreamy layers.
Mix two, the ‘Ambient Mood’ mix is one of those ‘as you feel it in the moment’ interpretations, where taMe draw on all their influences to make a tapestry of sounds that oddly seem to work. This is an altogether intricate production that could be a ‘surprise’ moment or deemed just plain leftfield.
