Whenever you play a real good afterhour, Filterheadz’ productions are sure shots that get the crowd really going wild.
Now they return to Toolroom Trax with their first EP of the year. In their short amount of time away from the label they have refined their sound and taken a slightly darker, more authentic techno route with this offering.
‘Rubicon’ almost gives a nod towards some older Dave Clark style techno with those old school analogue synths and seering drum patterns whilst the flip ‘The Abyss’ screams trademark Filterheadz on a proggy techno tip. Both offerings are already being hammered by Carl Cox and look primed to set up another incredible year of music for these legendary artists.
