The Ibiza legend teams up with Thailand’s Samotarev for two very warm deep-prog excursions. Graham’s obvious trance roots are hinted at in lead track ‘Rising’, with smooth sunrise chord textures and current rolling low end patterns. Presented in two equally as appealing mood-variants, ‘Rising’ steals the show from the off. ‘Blue Camels’ classic analogue feel wouldn’t have been out of place on classic prog bible Renaissance, projecting updated synths and elements from this golden era. The Samatorev mix again puts a nice spin on things, making this an essential EP for all fans of real progressive. Close your eyes, you’ll find yourself on Haad Rin at 9am. Lovely!
