First it was the mighty Neptunes productions, closely followed by N.E.R.D. Well now Pharell Williams is about to unleash his forthcoming solo album ‘In My Mind’. The LP has got two distinct sides, 1 hip hop, 2 RnB. ‘Can I Have It Like That’ is lifted from the hip hop side, and opens with a Marvin Gaye sample, before sliding and gliding on the bassline of the year, while Gwen Stefani cheekily answers back ‘You Got It Like That’. This is a superb starter to wet the appetite for the main course.
