Another steaming sonic cow-pat from the virulent rear end of San Francisco’s esteemed Moulton Studios crew sees the ‘Dusted tracks’ series rage into its fifth missive. Once again it’s four tracks of a basic, sample-crafted nature, ‘The Life’ getting under way with a cheeky little acid line poking out of its shorts before the blissful boogie of ‘Let’s Do It’ brings in disco chants, guitar and brass to seriously funked effect. ‘Bounce Step’ continues the boogie-flavoured house romping before ‘Keep Keepin’ On’ utilises a classic D Train refrain over deep electro riffage. Lovely stuff all round.
