Another distinctive production this week comes from App whose shuffling funk on ‘Breathe Love’ is hard to pin down. Offset by a sparkling array of synthesizer notes, and fashionably detuned vocals, it isn’t too long before you’re wired into its way of thinking. Fabrizio Maurizi provides the first remix with insistent beats and bells adding extra edge to what is another irresistible version. Leaving BPitch favourite, Thomas Muller to supply the second via a more brutal approach combing mood with unforgiving sound. ‘Falling’ completes the EP by returning to the groove of the title track and its exciting blend of rhythms, which this time also feature some sassy fusion keys.
