I am becoming a proper fan of Copy Paste Soul, they make techno that makes you feel something and that’s a very good thing. This EP is no exception. Like the vocal drawls they ‘create their own sound … soul within the music’ and it’s true. ‘Our Sound’ is a jacked up, tech house cut with sharp acidics and a burbling bassline. ‘Move Your Body’ wobbles, whips and stings you into dancefloor submission like a giant, transparent raving jellyfish. And to close, the Man With No Shadow remix of ‘Our Sound’ is a funkier, fleshed out affair that raises the pulse and ups the heart rate beautifully. Sounds pretty good to me.
