Roush now turn to the globally recognised house star that is the UK’s Darius Syrossian. As resident at Sankeys and Tribal Sessions and a veteran of releases on Jackathon, Im a House Gangster, Viva and Hot Creations there is little this man can’t do with his machines and this new EP proves that once again.
Opening up the three track affair is Time, a tough edged, tightly coiled tech banger that will keep floors locked for days. Slick and with some nice hi hat and snare action it really is a no frills killer that does what any great hose track should. Then comes Back in the Day, which is more more laid-back and soulful cut with golden chords and spacious beats as well as a killer, classic bassline in the making. Finally, remixing is Frenchman and DC10 star DJ W!ld who slows things down further and opts to keep the vibe all summery. It’s a classy bit of work from the venerated talent and rounds out an excellent EP.
