Continuing the theme of great music comes this latest from DJ T. It’s classic House but with a 2013 twist taking its influence from those deliciously, sleazy Chicago basslines that sizzled with tension against equally teasing vocals back in the late 80’s- however in this case receiving an ice cool treatment from Mia Lucci. Beyond that what makes this feel so much better than anything simplistic and retro are the creative touches of unnerving, semi-melodic synths that adorn the production projecting the music forward. The excellent Dub is almost even better with tougher moods combining with expectant keys and just the right hint of vocal lending weight. Then there’s the Instrumental highlighting how much the vocal actually does add, but then equally how sassy the music is all by itself.
