How nice of last year’s Colin Hauswerks to check in with this hyper-jacked three track, house with a twist of acid and a shot of EP on Moda Black. All good, in the mix, ‘Why You Tellin Me’ clicks the beats three times and says there’s no place like a soulful garage groove with its sneaky Kidnap Kid ‘Survive’ vocal sample, ‘You Make Me Feel’ puts you in touch with your masculine side with its phat beats, psychodelic acidics and growling effects and your feminine side with its soaring diva vocal snips. And the cherry on the gateau? ‘It’s You’ is a bona fide stomp and fist pump riot. Why am I telling you? Because I think you’ll like it ☺
