Names who don’t need an introduction join forces for this release on Kenny Dope’s own imprint and as you’d expect from these two heavyweights the results produced thoroughly satisfy. Also of note is the Masters At Work remix – their first in ten years – which sees Robert Owens engaging vocals carried on a sea of flowing beats and keyboard pulses that feel suitably sublime. The KenLou mix then focuses on the rougher edge generated by the drums, while Doc Daneeka version returns the emphasis to the deeper vibes on offer. Leaving the one and only Mr. G to sizzle with positively, funky attitude pumping out the beats and bass in fine fashion.
