It’s been 16 years since ‘Fine Day’ hit the top spot in the Buzz chart and looks like to be heading back at the top again. This ‘proper’ dance anthem has been covered, sampled and been the hook in many booty’s over the years but has never matched the original until now that is. Opus 3 vocalist Kirsty Hawkshaw re-vocal’s the track to perfection with Kinky Roland tweaking the sounds. It has all the vibe and flow of the 90’s design with a cutting sound of today but full awards go to the Farenheit remix. This is prog trance at it’s most luxurious, a real dream track to play with endless layers of sound and a breakdown from heaven. I would even say it sounds better than the original and has will become a standout piece of music on its own without the history. With more mixes still to come I think it’s going to be a fine 2008 indeed.
