Listening to the twisted techno of the original version of this only makes the Yapacc rework sound all the more brilliant. Sitting somewhere in-between Manuel Göttsching’s seminal, ‘E2-E4’ and tripped out bliss this plays like six minutes, thirty seconds of stereo enhanced ecstasy, that would feel equally as home on Balearic turntables as it would on Club soundsystems. The percussion is simply first rate and the pulsating synthesizers feel classic and inspired – try this out for yourself and see. Anton Kubikov provides the second remix which is more akin to the original although deeper with burbling hints of Acid evolving into something strange and tastefully atmospheric.
