Garage is certainly taking a stronghold in the club and national charts and ‘Rumours’ this Pep & Rash bass and kick drum bouncer adds more grist to that mill. Open hi-hats, a stomping kick and lashings of synth wash swirl it around whilst the fx-ed and time stretched vocal ‘there’s a rumour going round about you, I’d quite like to find out if that’s true’ hits it out of the park to a cheering crowd. It’s long been my secret radio weapon (credited as ID on my playlists since 2014 became 2015) and is my power work and walk out tune if you’re interested. It’s a hit, but don’t just take my word for it.
