Italian tech house wunderkind Pirupa (author of Desolat / Defected’s 2012 biggie ‘Party Non Stop’) delivers a banging slab of reverse hit tech house on his spanking new label Non Stop Recordings. Together with his production pal Ninho ‘Spin Me Round’ is an airhorn fuelled, Dead or Alive vocal-stretching bone-crusher that willl either have you burying your head in your hands or raising both hands to eye level in Italian mama dance floor approval. The Leon Remix cuts away most of the vocal to deliver a syncopated click-and-thump tech house chugger with sunray synths, cavernous drops and gentle taps on suede covered blocks to add colour to the monochrome template. It’s a cheesy crowd pleaser with underground appeal and there’s nowt wrong with that.
