Welcome to ‘Amnesia’ a breaks powered, vocal club cut with rave running through it like a stick full of righteous glow. There’s nothing woolly about Paul Woolford here – those who have been following the Special Requests ascendance will attest to the fact that he has fast become a high priest of funky techno, death defying breaks and a rave master par excellence. ‘Amnesia’ is just that and more besides, working a hypnotic vocal into a sparse piano breakdown then building back up into a big box, little box, T-Coy ‘Carino’ inspired disco sauna. Smileys guaranteed all round.
