France has a long history of great house music producers and hoping to add his name to that canon is Rafael Cerato. Tanztone Records, Louder Music and Union Jack have all released his music to date and now he serves up his Gladiator EP featuring two new essential gems. Up first is Gladiator, which is a magically melodic bit of house music with chords that elevate the track into the stratosphere. It shows real artistry and musicianship and is the sort of cut that will form a great peak in any set. The second track sees Rafael team up with WD2N for ‘It Was Lost’, a track that is just as melodic as the first and is a real spine tingling affair that will gets dancefloors all in a trance with its sweeping synths, groaning melodies and spaced out vibes. With this EP, then, Rafael Cerato’s race to the top continues apace.
