DJ Sneak welcomes 2 talented Brazilian’s to the Magnetic Recordings stable, Wender & Rods, packing an monumental punch with their debut ‘Roll On’ EP. Opening with a driving ball of energy , ‘Roll On’ travels snappy with it’s Detroit cut up vocals, Techy loops, old school synth hooks and some frantic high hat riding. The aptly named ‘Bouncy Girl’ is an incessant slab of Tech House fuzed with animated Techno loops and girly vocal stabs, set to loop you dizzy. ‘Beat My Beat’ is a peak time bleepy stomper that’s armed with a large shot of gangster funk that mingles with off-the-chain breaks and glitchy hooks with a colossal impact. Rounding off this diverse package is ‘Aliens Attack’ – an upbeat groover with hints of Ska, set to a bumping bass groove and beaming with quirky Alien vocal hooks.
