Arthur Baker launches his new label Baked Recordings with ‘No Price’ a sizzling, orchestrated 80s influenced slice of filtered disco house. The strings will turn any dancefloor into a mass of twirling disco dervishes whilst the vocal is a lip-synching, choreographed moment that needs to be dressed in velvet, sequins and satin. With Arthur’s experience and background there is no questioning the authenticity of the sounds, production or arrangement – in fact, I almost can’t see past the afros and big hair due to the height of the platforms. If you know what I mean. It’s radio and club friendly and could quite easily be a hit with the right radio support. Priceless.
