Airhorns at the ready. Take the biggest dutchy you can find, throw in some snarling, growling, speaker blowing bass, lace it liberally with some ‘step out of the car with your hands above your head’ sirens, rip it up with a piercing diva vocal snippet, some Metalheadz sounding synth punctuation and well-timed rewinds, Top Cat’s quirky MC announcements, splashing rides, killer fills and a combat pants and high tops attitude and you have the perfect recipe for a track that will mash up any dance. Paul Woolford’s (aka Special Request’s) Basement mix wraps some Masters At Work sounding beats and a Transformers sized, sub-woofer guzzling bug-in-the-bassbin around the snipped and stuttered vocal for an old skool house hoe-down that reminds me of Trouble’s Loft and will twist more than a few clubbers’ ankles. Close your eyes and you’ll think you were raving back in 1994. Come wid da myoozik !
