taMe – Seam Unique

Next up on taMe music is a tidy new two-track package from the eponymous taMe. Colin Dale turns up on remix duties and all three tracks are sure-fire winners. Meltdown goes first and is a writhing, electro tinged main room monster. A spraying synth line moves about within a metallic drum framework and wobbly bass adds plenty of heft. Its lively and colourful and differs quite a bit from the next original Seam Unique. This one is more of a spine tingling affair that builds in layers with teeth clenching synths, haunted melodies and saw tooth lines that really get under your skin. Last but not least comes the best track on the EP from long time house stalwart Colin Dale. His remix is a supple, deep, wobbly house affair that bides its time and pays the long game. It’s a terrific groove for discerning dancers and proves Dale is a fine talent.
