Japan’s Tomoki and Nono debut for Nitegrooves features not one but two excellent versions which both scream for your attention. Jim Rivers’ simply outstanding production blinds science with its array moody soundscapes and blistering layers of rhythm which combine with Rica’s risqué sounding voice to great effect. Meanwhile the aptly titled 4am Dub drives you to distraction with its insistent bass heavy groove, twisted vocals and inventive percussion on this clearly noteworthy release.
