Massive Attack have written & recorded the score to the Luc Besson film “Danny The Dog”, & what we’ve got here is a limited edition 4 track 10” sampler (bet that caused a rustle in your Anorak). On the A-side there’s “One Thought At A Time”, which has got plenty of Roy Budd’s Get Carter-isms, as it builds into a violent back alley showdown in grainy Technicolor. Followed by the floaty “Polaroid Girl”, fuelled with beautiful people on drugs at a word of mouth happening. The orchestrated & melancholic “Danny The Dog” & “Two Rocks & A Cup Of Water” are on the flip. Massive Attack, being as dramatic as ever.
