After taking the U.S. by storm in 2007, California’s Port O’Brien make their debut over here with the joyously raucous ‘I Woke Up Today’, which grabs you right from the off and makes you wanna jump, shout and chant along with the band, who sound like they’re having the time of their lives, as they stomp their feet and bash the 4/4 beat out of anything they can lay their hands on. I defy anyone not to be swept away with the feel good wild abandon that Port O’Brien create with ‘I Woke Up Today’. This record should be available on the NHS.
