LED ZEPPELIN
IMMIGRANT SONG (DIRTY FUNKER REMIX)
SPIRIT

Dirty Funker have always flown pretty close to the sun having added their unique take on proceedings to previous releases by Nirvana, Adam Ant, David Bowie and most recently Steve Winwood (their version even appearing on Eric Prydz’s chart topper). DF now turns their attention to those bastions of ‘70s rock, Led Zeppelin. Sacrilege to some, this deluxe packaged house makeover, of a track that first appeared some 35 years ago on their ‘Led Zeppelin III’ opus, actually stays pretty close to the original with Robert Plants vocals retained in full, complimented by a house beat that fully emphasises Jimmy Page’s distinctive and now syncopated bassline. Too good to ignore, let’s just hope they don’t get burned.
