Radio Rental is a long standing UK producer who makes no bones about the fact that he looks to house music’s history for his inspiration. Here he does so again, and uses all his 15 years experience to cook up a brace of brilliant groovers for the Pukka Up Deep label.
First up is Money, a driving track that is built on a rock solid bed of drums. Called Money, it has a female vocal singing away up top and robust drums and kicks that really will standout on the floor. Colour comes from some killer chords. Then Going Back is the second original and is a super warm and inviting, musical and jazzy number. Lovely chords are draped over deep, inviting drums and the whole thing really sucks you in. All in all then both cuts here are winners.
