Kink is one of the main DJs and producers we hear about from Sofia, but of course there are many more. One of them is Shosho, who is a hot talent really making waves at the moment. His house sound is fresh and exciting and now it finds him landing on the Lapsus Music label with three more cuts of thrilling club music.
The best of all might be Fantastico, which is a clean and crisp jam that has weird vocals and spaced out chords laid over rubbery, driving beats. The sci-fi vibe continues throughout with the percolating and prickly Gorillaz. This one is drunken sounding and off beat, with squelchy hi hats adding up to a freaky sound track. Last of all, Xo is the most playful of the lot, with spinning hi hats, crisp vocals and rooted bass notes that make you want to move your rump. All in all this is a killer EP from this new great talent.
