Yes, Balearic Masters is a new label, and no, it’s not aimed at bearded long hairs who like forgotten 80’s Italo tunes. Better than that, this is a label for introducing new Balearic-based producers and DJ’s, and starts with Jordi Villalta’s pretty thrilling tech-house ride that is ‘Amnesia Terrace’, a rolling rock of bass, whirligig synths, and techy drums – ideal terrace material, in fact. Majorca residents Legaz & Spider (Majorkings) inject a little digital re-shuffling with their own take on it. Likely to be played in Ibiza and beyond.
