Todd is still God, at least for the thing we call HOUSE and to understand what this man has given our scene throughout all the years he has been putting out his music, it probably is not even enough to listen to his recent House Masters album on Defected. The diversity he is known for is one of his big assets, as he is able to deliver a totally soulful pearl next to a bangin’ club record. For his return to legendary label Strictly Rhythm, which of course has been home to numerous of his classics, Todd revives the CLS moniker for a track that acts as a kind of essential guide to his unique production style; the same raw energy, bustling beats, warped vocal, stabs and manipulated sounds that once his standout jam ‘Can You Feel It” had. Huge!
