A sweet smelling fourth addition to the Fenou Bouquet brings some classy electronic music into play from Leipzig-based producer The Micronaut (Stefan Streck). His blueprint is to create a mix that gets the feet moving but creates pictures for the mind’s eye at the same time – and the mottled piano of Martin Kohlstedt’s ‘Am’ does exactly that, a beautiful piece of minimalism that brings Philip Glass to mind. Later on when the beats assume greater dominance there are bouncy contributions from Dapayk & Midnight (‘I Found You’), Sebastian Russell (‘Free Fall’) and Dapayk’s excellent remix of Mooryc’s ‘Simply’. The mix itself flows beautifully, carefully thought through and finished with loving attention to detail. Deep electronica with more than a touch of quality.
