Did you say this is the #1 most Shazammed track in Ibiza? I can totally understand why. This is EXACTLY the reason why I love Solomun so much. He lets the story unfold, gently at first with flamenco handclaps, washes of synths and a pulse and heartbeat that propels it all forward. Add the quirky indie vocal, let the music drop a notch, let it breathe. First one head nods, a couple dance, the people at the bar forget their drinks and join the building crowd. We start to dance as one. Then add a bit of distortion, push the meter, blow the tweeters , let it tug on your heart strings with its orchestrated strings and then … and then … watch everyone fall in. Before you know it two thousand people are handclapping with hands raised. Massive record. Excellent remix. Proud to play it out.
