Eyerer and Chopstick

1. Ritch & Collins – Fortuna – Get Physical Music
I love this track because it crosses those minimal borders and is simply straight in ya face!

2. Paul Ritch & Anthony Collins – Statler – Traum
Pretty much the same effect here as fortuna by those two new young parisians.. i just love what they are putting out!

3. Sian – Oldworld Monkey – Criminal
Simply a great vibe.. love how sian always arranges his tracks.. i could listen to it in a loop without getting bored ever.

4. Preocoup – Ohrwerk – Baalsaal
Another artist I’m working with on a new fresh imprint to be launched next year. i love this track because it is so melodic and emotional.

5. Kollektiv Turmstrasse – Disconnect Me – Ostwind
A great track by these 2 guys from hamburg.. been playing this out every-time and the reactions are still fantastic. great production!
 6. Namito – Jou Jou (Martin Landsky rmx) – Kling Klong
Namito will be for me “the man” for 2007 – I am sure. Jou Jou is the perfect balance between minimal, house and techno, also the Landsky rmx is definitely one of the best remixes this guy did so far. I am happy to have this release on my Label!

7. Jason Emsley – function e.p. – Platzhirsch
Lately it happened not only once to me that I listened to some tunes that catched me in the first second and realised after asking that it was a jason Emsley production. This one here is the next killer after Ananda´s “Doppelwhipper” on Platzhirsch: A slowly growing monster that kicks like hell ass at the end.

8. Martin Eyerer & Oliver Klein – Kairo – MBF
Is it uncool to chart own stuff? An old discussion for sure. But this record I play out really at every gig (both sides), so it has to have its place in my top five – sorry guys. Al Quadus has something of 90’s techno; slowly atmospheric starting, mixed with a new school techno groove, but wait till the filter opens after 4 mins…..

9. Donnacha Costello – 6.6 – minimise
After Donnacha´s 6.4, really every minimal techno DJ should have this guy on screen. The 6.6 is the next killer from the man from Dublin!

10. adaptor – suicide in self defense (tom clark rmx) – session deluxe
Highgrade rec label boss Tom Clark himself comes up with a deep and groovy 12 min remix of the next Session Deluxe: I don’t want to miss it in my late hour’s sets for sure.

Eyerer and Chopstick’s hit “Haunting” is released on iO Music in January 2007.
