1) Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip ‘Thou Shalt Always Kill’ (Rhysmix) (CDR) This is Tom Bellamy (the better looking half of The Losers) and his genius mix of one of the tunes of the year.
2) Digitalism ‘Idealism’ (Hstereo Rebrand) We love these Hamburg boys and like all the mixes here, but this is the one that seems to work best on our kind of dancefloors.
3) Soulwax album ‘Most Of The Remixes’ (Parlophone) The most useful album in both our bags, the Belgian Masters are an inspiration. Take your pick here: Gossip, Klaxons, Arthur Baker…
4) Rage Against The Machine (Losers Remix) (Half Inch Recordings) This has cause devastation all summer, the ultimate festival set ender.
5) Benny Benassi vs Public Enemy ‘Bring The Noise’ (CDR) Benny is such a legend and this mix just oozes class from every pore.
6) Black Daniel ‘Gimme What You Got’ (Alex Metric Remix) (CDR) Alex is on fire right now and this is our favourite of his mixes, they’re all amazing but this one we’ve dropped all summer to great effect.
7) Josh Wink ‘Higher State Of Consciousness’ (TV Rock And Dirty South Remix) A really good-time updating of one of the best tunes ever made. Has a positive vibe that Australia seems to give everything and everyone.
8) Kissy Sellout vs Ali Love & 2Unlimited ‘Get Ready For The K-Hole’ (www.myspace.com/kissysellout) Proof that sometimes the most loved mixes are the ones you do in 2 minutes flat. A glorious boot. Wish we’d thought of it.
9) Remerge ‘I Can’t Believe Its Not 92’ (Remerge) Now THAT’s what I call Nu Rave. Blows everything else ‘NR’ out of the water.
10) The Source feat. Candi Staton ‘You Got The Love’ (Losers Remix) (CDR) Our favourite Losers mix so far, Candi has never sounded so filthy. LOSERS forthcoming release is a huge remix of Candi Statton ‘You’ve Got The Love’, followed by a single in November and debut album in February next year.
