This Summer saw your beloved label release ’10 Years Diynamic – what’s the album all about…?
Wow, 10 years they went so fast. Well, we did this compilation to see where we are and where we stand right now. Our label is getting bigger and bigger, new artists like Lehar or Undercatt found their way to Diynamic family. So the compilation is a kind of work exhibition for all of our artists. My contribution is a track I did together with the singer of Liu Bei a UK Indie band with an amazing voice.
You are known for always pushing new boundaries – where do you see electronic music advancing towards in the future?
We will all wear purple velvet clothes in the future instead of black, the BPM will develop until 170, and everybody will use Lyra-samples like there is no tomorrow … no, just kidding: honestly I have no idea, and this is what I love most about our music. You never know what happens next. This is keeping us all fresh and open minded. As long as we don’t stop moving there will always be change.
You are a DJ / promoter / label owner and producer. Do you ever think you have taken on too much and would like to dedicate more time to one area of your incredibly busy working life?
Interesting question, I never asked myself this one honestly. I love all the aspects of my life, wether it is producing, DJing or finding new talent for Diynamic and 2DIY4, our labels. Basically it’s always a question of balance. If life isn’t balanced, then it starts to be complicated.
You have delighted us around Ibiza this summer with your parties at different locations, what guests have really shone for you this summer? What have been the highlights?
One of the highlights every year is the free party we do at the port of Ibiza. We did it a few weeks ago and it is always the party I’m the most looking forward. Because I start to play in front of 2 people and at the end of the evening there are thousands and thousands of people at the amazing venue of the old port of Ibiza town. Older people, families, kids, random people and loads of them discover electronic music there. They just enjoy the evening for free and outdoor. Talking about the other events: noone of my guests left me disappointed, all did very well and I am totally looking forward for the rest of this season.
A rising/emerging producer we should all be looking out for in the future?
That’s hard to say because there are so many amazing producers out there. So please allow me only to feature our latest additions to Diynamic family: Johannes Brecht, Undercatt and Lehar.

When does the planning for Ibiza 2017 begin?
It never stopped, it’s constantly planning.
