A well-known face on the breaks scene thanks to his involvement with Breakneck and LondonBreakz, this two part EP – second part to follow in a few weeks – precede his debut album and set the pace for what to expect. “Secret Silver” fuses live guitar from Chris Carter with a funky track that finds a groove and settles into it nicely, creating a really fluid vibe throughout. The dropout halfway through is pefect. “Big Monkey” is exactly that. Freaky keys ride a stepping break that plays with a sinister vocal sample, although gives no clues as to when or where to expect it. Top drawer beats.
