Winking at Madchester’s indie-dance the first Stratus single on Klein is a psychedelic song with sixties harmonies, ethereal guitars and groovy beats. For a more clubby variation they join forces with Pete Herbert under their Optimus moniker and turn out an hypnotic electro mix that makes particular good use of the androgynous vocals (117 BPM). Padded Cell (aka Richard Sen and Neil Beatnik) propose a funky answer to new beat with a cool 4/4 builder, hypnotic and slightly industrial (105 BPM).
