One of my favorite vocalist of all time! Chaka delivers strong soulful vocals and takes me on a high with this track. No matter where I’m at this tracks takes me home.  

02. Tom Browne “Funkin’ for Jamaica”  – GRP Records/ARISTA 1980
Classic soulful funk with an infectious bass line and funky vocals.

03. Womack & Womack “Baby I’m Scared of You”  – Elektra Records 1983
Great and clever songwriting. I always rock and smile when listening to this song.

04. Gwen Guthrie “Padlock” – Garage ITG Records 1983
This song takes me back to the Paradise Garage days. It was such a great moment in time. Always pleasure to hear this gem.

05. Rahsaan Patterson “Where You Are” – MCA Records 1997
Rahsaan is such a genius. This one of my favorite tracks by him.  

06. Christina Aguilera “Hurt” – RCA Records 2006
Such a powerful vocal, great lyrics and strong melodies. Excellent production!

07. Mary J BliGe and U2 “One” – Geffen Records 2005   
Deep and soulful pop rock. A wonderful remake collaboration on already such a great song. Mary sounds awesome.

08. The B-52’s “Mesopotamia” – Warner Bros Records 1982
One of my favorite B-52’s songs. Great concept and slammin’ bass line.
09. Vivian Green “Emotional Rollercoaster” club mix – Columbia Records 2002
Absolutely love this song, especially the dance remix. It really takes me on a rollercoaster in the club.

10. Angie Stone “I Wish I Didn’t Miss You” – J-Records 2001
What can you say about Angie, so heartfelt and soulful. Andrea Martin wrote a great song and Angie delivered!!!
