GLOWINTHEDARK, part of the infamous Dirty Dutch crew and collaborators with Radio 1’s Danny Howard and T3nbears on their new track ‘MUG’ (out now on Spinnin’) certainly know how to deliver a crushing set of the heaviest party bangers. Ain’t A Party, our baby and breakthrough song in the EDM world will always will have a special place in our hearts. The process of writing it and getting the chance releasing and working on it with one of most successful artists of the EDM scene has to offer was a big honor!
Deorro – Dechorro (Original Mix)
With his Panda Funk style, Deorro momently kills the dance floors! We got introduced by Steve Aoki through email and here we are working on a smasher! Apart from that, we love to play new stuff and of course his new tunes are dropping insanely good! The reason of choosing this track is because the unexpected double drop thingy he made, groovy and funky but still hits as a BOMB. Massive respect fort his one.
Martin Garrix, Jay Hardway – Wizard (Original Mix)
We met 1 year ago at Dance Fair in Utrecht, Netherlands. He was standing there with his laptop full with crazy promo tracks, one of those tracks was Animals that definitely was a game changing sound of last year. With this new record he and Jay Hardway took the sound to a next level and we from GLOWINTHEDARK love it! (Check the SMASH-UP! we did ;))
Afrojack – Musician (Original Mix)
We think that Afrojack is one of the better producers out there. With his wide range and taste for music he created his own unique sound. Either it’s club or pop you will hear it’s Afrojack. We chose this tune because it has the true old Afrojack groove in the beat that we like of him, with an amazing catchy tune it’s the perfect combination for a club killer.
Miike Snow – Animal
This track has just an incredible vibe. After a crazy show or night this is definitely a track we play to get the after party going!
GLOWINTHEDARK Ft Chuckie – NRG (Original Mix)
Concept in our songs is priority number one! The same counts for Chuckie. So gimme that NRG NRG NRG was born on the dancefloor without a doubt!
Calvin Harris ft Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing (Diplo Remix)
Big inspirations for us are Calvin Harris and Diplo. Now one is doing a remix for the other and it’s nothing more than absolute craziness! We give Diplo massive credits on this remix because he nailed it. The man has been on fire the last few years with his productions. Almost everything he touch is hot and the next coolest thing in the scene. He inspires us with his wide approach of music in his productions and live performances.
Zedd Ft Foxes – Clarity (Tiesto Remix)
The award winning song “Clarity” was brought to another level by Tiesto and definitely a reminder for us. We played it almost in every single set last year, we love it loud and the sound Tiesto used for his remix was huge.
Pharrell Williams – Happy (From “Despicable Me 2”)
For us, the song of the year 2013. As big fans of his productions together with the amazing Chat Hugo as The Neptunes and NERD, they are for us one of our biggest inspiration and icons. With this record Pharrell really nailed it, with the nice oldschool feel swing in the drums and harmonies in the vocals he made the perfect combination for a song that makes us HAPPY !!!
Pendulum – Watercolour
A song we just really love in all kinds of ways – emotions, epicness and production wise, this is just a personal big piece of audio for us!
