01. Gerry Mulligan – Nightlights (Mercury)  1963
How low can jazz go? Not much lower than this, we really love this moody atmosphere..

02. Neil Young – The Old Laughing Lady (Reprise) 1969
A bit unusual to hear Neil Young with strings. this production sounds very modern to us, along with artists like with Jack Nitzsche & Ryland Cooder

03. Lampchop – The Daily Growl (City Slang) 2002
When this record came out in 2002 we were really blown away. Live they create the same vibe, so much space in the music…

04. Max Richter – Flowers for Yulia (Fat Cat) 2006
The perfect impression for a dark cloudy november day, this is guaranteed to multiply your sadness several times.

05. Paul Burch – Willpower (Merge) 2000
A very much overlooked artist, every album of him is excellent.  “Willpower” is a ballad; a mix of acoustic country/rockabilly and jazzy vibraphone notes.

06. Brain Eno – Always Returning (Virgin) 1983
My favorite tune from the apollo record of Brain Eno. this backwards spinning pedal steel sounds so sweet.  Ambient has never sounded so light.

07. Antonio Carlos Jobim – Sabia (CTI) 1970
Few records are as close to perfection as this. Perfect Production, recording, and arrangement with creative writing. Nearly impossible to reach this quality of work again.

08. Neu! – Hallogallo (Astralwerks) 1972
So ahead of its time, vorsprung durch technik – nothing more to say.

09. Jon Lucien – Rashida (RCA) 1973
In this tune, there is this thin line between kitsch and sweetness in a beautiful song, it can change from day to day, but I can’t stop listen to it.

10. Intrusion – Tswana Dub (Brendon Moeller’s Dub) (Intrusion) 2008
Deep techno can sounds so warm & deep with a good pair of speakers, that I always want to flip this record on.
