1 . Michael Jackson – Man In The Mirror (Epic Records)
This is definitely my best track of all time. Michael’s vocals are outstanding and you can feel his sense of passion and belief in the song just by hearing him sing it and the message in the song is truly touching.
2. John Lennon – Imagine (EMI)
This is another amazing song for me, one of the best songs ever written. I love the piano melody with the lyrics and the whole general feeling of the song as well as the great awareness of the message he is putting across. Great
3. Bob Marley – Get Up Stand Up (Island Records)
This is a great song. As well as the uplifting message in this song, I love the arrangement, love the bass pattern and everything else that makes this track a classic. 100% organic music.
4. Stevie Wonder – I Just Called to Say I Love You (Motown Records)
I love_ this song!! I used to sing to it every time I heard it as a little kid. Stevie’s vocals are amazing, powerful and full of emotion.
5. Sinead O Connor – Nothing Compares to You (Chrysalis Records)
Every time I hear this song, I picture the music video where she starts crying. The feeling of the song is immense. With her amazing vocals and the subtle strings in the background this track definitely touches me.
6. Marvin Gaye – I Heard It through the Grapevine (Tamia Records)
One of my favourite songs, Marvin’s voice is very soulful and special. There may never be a voice that oozes soul and feeling like the way his did.
7. Lenny Kravitz – It Ain´t Over till it´s Over (Virgin Records 1991
I really love the bass and strings on this track along with Lenny’s soothing vocals. I also love the guitar solo in the track. Great song.
8. Prince – Purple Rain (Warner Bros.)
Prince, one of the greatest artists of all time. This song really covers the many feelings people go through either it be crushes, breakups or just missing that special sum1. It is an amazing_ song.
9. Coldplay – Trouble (Parlophone)
Coldplay write some beautiful music, all it takes is one time and u can’t get it out of your head_ this is one of them, always pulls at my heart, awesome song.
10. Michael Jackson & Stevie Wonder – Just Good Friends
My favourite two artists of all time team up on this one. This track is very uplifting for me and means a lot. Growing up in the 80’s this used to be my favourite track and when Stevie comes on the track, he nails it! Loving the MJ, Stevie vibe, Wonderful song.
