1. Depeche Mode – Enjoy The Silence (Mute)
A timeless track from the album that shaped my youth and inspired me to do what I do. “Violator” was the perfect collection of songs – visually stunning as well as musically brilliant.

2. Sara Berg – This Can’t Be Desire (Gaymonkey)
She is truly the new Annie Lennox – an electrodiva with style, grace, a stunning voice and unbelieveable talent. This is my favourite track she has written to date.

3. Gus Gus – Moss (Pineapple)
Daniel Agust has one of the best male voices in electronic music. So smooth and alluring. I am a huge fan of their work and have been since their very first release – their new album does not disappoint and “Moss” quickly rose to the top of my chart.

4. Felix da Housecat – Silver Screen Shower Scene (City Rockers)
The record that, for me, ushered in the new era of electropop and made the disco fabulous once again.

5. Company B – Fascinated (ZYX)
Everyone loves this track – its a surefire winner on the dance floor. A perfect italo riff and a great chorus.

6. Abba – The Visitors (Polar)
When Benny and Björn entered the famous Polar studios in Stockholm to write their final album, I’m certain they unlocked a portal to the future. The production on this album is clearer and more intricate than most releases to follow in the next twenty years. The title track to the album is pure electronic pop genius.

7. Phonique with Erlend Oye – For The Time Being (Alexkid ‘s Cold Mix)
(Renaisance)
I felt Norway was under represented on this scandophile’s list … Erlend is one of my favourite voices and I think his collaboration with Phonique was one of the best he has done. Alexkid’s mix is faithful to the original and just brings that fat bass up to a respectable level.

8. Melnyk – Strut (Zwicker’s Tripping VIP Remix) (Gaymonkey)
I love Zwicker’s style – excellent nouveau disco house – and his production skills are top notch. He’s given “Strut” a wonderful late night vibe while keeping it feeling dirty and sexy. Such an honour to have your track reinterpreted with such panache.

9. Björk – All Is Full Of Love (One Little Indian)
Björk always makes my lists because, well, she deserves to be recognised at every junction. For this collection I choose “All Is Full Of Love” for its simplicity and beauty, and because it goes really well into the next track …

10. Stina Nordenstam – Little Star (Warner)
Stunning vocal – the innocence of a child telling a story through the eyes of an adult. She is a truly unique talent that many contemporary swedish artists have tried to replicate and failed miserably
