Martin Madigan presents The 2010 Wheelbarrow Disco Race
Bit of a weird one this, but big Windsor DJ Martin Madigan will be hosting a wheelbarrow race through Windsor Town Centre from 3pm with some big DJs all for charity. Graham Hold is apparently in the race, as is Tony Blackburn and  Smash & Nicey. The after party is at The Yangtze Peking Restaurant on Thames Street where Martin will be spinning a back to back set with Jo Brand.

Saturday January 23rd
Fierce Angel @ Rockpool, Koh Samui, Thailand
If I hadn’t put a couple of grand on Barbara Windsor snuffing it by the end of last week at Labrokes, I’d have been off to this party. Cool House music, Mark Doyle spinning funky, sexy, grooves. Mark, I’m jealous.

Saturday January 23rd
Koolwaters @ The White House, London
Mr Marc Vedo was once quoted in Mixmag as “the next Sasha’. He has gone to front Slinky as well as his own Koolwaters night in the West Country. First time I ventured up to the club.

Saturday January 23rd
A Night For Heroes @ The Egg, London
The best after hours club in London? I have been covering clubs around the world, and apart from Trade, it doesn’t get any better. The bi-annual roadblock ‘ A Night For Heroes’ steps up showcasing Ibiza stalwarts Meganite, alongside some of the capital’s up and coming promoters who have rammed their room’s to the rafters during 2009. Creative with lots of twists in the musical programming, ‘ANFH’ sees Meganite return with special guest Ricardo Ferri flying in to play live, supported by UK Meganite residents, Francesco Poggi and Fabiano Binaglia, alongside Blasphemies and Sound and Roses favourite – Alfredo Ramos whilst ‘Concepto’ take over The Basement featuring current scene favourites Lee Rands, Dan Farserelli and Micheal Wells. 2009 saw the emergence of ‘SHE’ ( Soulful House East), who have spread their happy house vibe to many of the East End’s leading venues as well as enjoying a storming debut at Egg, and tonight catch Funky Soldiers, Gavin Stockman, D Da Costa, and SAM on the decks. The Egg is basically all about this. Magical music, late night stupidness, brilliant party people and what, at the end of the day, what clubbing is all about.
