Plan B, Brixton, London.
Loads of random parties going on this weekend (Jamm, Dogstar etc) but Plan B have nabbed the Offical After Party with 2 great promoters doing the business. Friday sees the likes of Cage & Aviary who are signed to LCD’s DFA label alongside Severino from Horse Neat Disco. But really it’s about the Saturday in my opinion, as Durr invite Erol Alkan, Rory Philips and “some very special” guests to help James and Pat from LCD party after the show.

Defected In The House @ The Ministry of Sound, London.
Hands up who’s up for Defected Records first party of the year (can you believe it was October 2009 when they last had us all jumoing around? Taking care of New York bad boy Sandy Rivera, Quentin Harris and a Ministry of Sound debut for Riva Starr, the guy who’s become the darling of Radio1’s Pete Tong and Annie Mac, this is the guy who shocked us all with his brilliant, highly original, gypsy inspired track with Noze ‘I Was Drunk’ which featured a video of slightly grotesque looking characters. In The Bar check out Defected new comers The Jinx, James Jackson, Rae doing a live and DJ set and djB making a trip all the way from Zouk in Singapore.
