Eclectic Italian duo Aki Bergen & Richter are back with mesmerising EP ‘Dreams For Sale’ on their own label ‘Neurotraxx’. These long
term friends have long been in the game and we expect nothing less than diverse, hypnotic and captivating from them.
Up first we have ‘Pictures of You’ featuring Luben. This track comes as an epic soundscape, with the rolling toms and hats keeping the
tempo while Luben provides eerie vocals giving it a dreamlike quality as the dark bass rolls though. With powerful chords and clever utilization of rainforest type samples, this track is packed with emotion and can only be described as evocative.
Up next we have the rightfully named ‘Emotional Response’ which presents itself more as a big room techno track of epic proportions.
Great use of synth arpeggios over a thumping bassline with teasing breaks before huge crescendos would provoke an emotional response in any listener.
